The success of the quilting process begins with you! A top that is well pieced, with parallel sides, pressed and lays flat will be a thing of beauty when it is quilted. Unlike quilting on a domestic machine, your quilt "sandwich" does not need to be basted. Each layer is pinned and stretched on a separate roller. The longarm machine is then hand guided over your quilt layers using either freehand motion or a repeating pattern.
